Every pendant here started as something Melinda picked up — a stone from a creek bed, a crystal from the hills, a sliver of ancient wood. She works with wire, cord and simple settings so the natural piece stays the centre of attention.

Because the materials come from the landscape, nothing can be repeated. When a piece finds its person, that is the only one there will ever be.
